Under my direction, your Recreation Committee Volunteers and I, remain committed to working together to make HCB a wonderful place to call home!
I'd like to thank everyone who participated in our Holiday Celebrations! Pictures with Santa in conjunction with the Melodiers Concert was wonderful! We really have the best Santa!
The Toms River Multigenerational Orchestra was a huge success! The kind donations of those in attendance raised over $1000 to help keep that program going!
Despite the weather challenges, we had a good number of houses participate in the House Decorating Contest. This year’s Winners are:

The winners received a beautiful Golden Light Award to proudly display. There were so many beautifully decorated houses that didn’t enter, and were left out of being voted on! Please help us get more homes signed up for our 2026 Contest!
Just a reminder, some of the big events coming up including our Share the Love Pancake Breakfast with all 6 of HCB’s Sanctioned Clubs! Out ‘Tuesday at 8” concert, and of course, our St Patrick’s Day Dinner in March! Craft Night, Game Night, Wed. Seminar, Book Club, Cooking club, Ceramics, and the Library Volunteers all continue to meet. Look for the announcement about forming a dart & shuffleboard league in this month’s paper.
Keep track of all Rec Committee Activities through our Facebook group, the HCB Website, the monthly paper, and our bulletin Board across from the game room in CH1. The Rec Committee will be meeting on the first Tuesday of the month in the Arts & Crafts Room at 4:30.
