The Go-Getters is a newly sanctioned fund-raising club. The first meeting was held on September 11, 2023. The Go-Getters will meet on the first Monday of every month. 

The meetings will be at 1PM in Clubhouse # 2. The sanction fee will be $5 for each person per year. We also have a  FB page https://www.facebook.com/groups/hcbgogetters for the Go-Getters. It will allow us to communicate and stay informed in between meetings. 

We sponsored 2 Pool Parties thus far. Our big event will be on April 27, 2024. We will be having a Tricky  Tray. Baskets are needed. We are looking for empty baskets or baskets that are full and ready to be donated. 

Everyone in our HCB community is welcome to join. Come have some fun while meeting neighbors of  HCB. Bring along your friends and your ideas.

Summer is now over and I'm hoping the season was a great one for all residents. Fall has recently begun, which means the Melodiers have returned to begin rehearsals in preparation for the holiday concert scheduled for Sunday, December 3rd at 2 PM in CH2. Show theme is titled "HOLIDAY MELODIES WITH THE MELODIERS." Ticket sales to be conducted in CH1 on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 12 Noon to 1 PM now in October and November. Any remaining unsold tickets thereafter will be available on performance day in CH2's lobby. Price of tickets is $5.00 each. Children under age 12 are admitted free. The summer is over and the Variety/Drama Club are back to the stage for what promises to be another wonderful production.

What is the Variety/Drama Club?  It’s a small group of eager people excited to entertain the masses with an annual show of various types.

We are looking for more people who are interested in joining.  Whether you want to be part of the stage performances or be one of the behind the scenes crew.

Hi My wonderful Bunco Players,

Judy and Myself along with our fabulous Staff Have done HCB Bunco for Seven Years. With that said we will be taking Hiatus during Season 23/24. We will resume Bunco September 2024. Thank you for all your support. Wishing you always best of Health and Happiness.

The Friendship Club is a group of men and women who meet on Mondays and Fridays from 12:30PM-4:00PM in the Poker Room in Clubhouse 1.

We are a group of about 15 people that love to play Canasta (Hand-And-Foot) and Mah-Jongg.

 
We always have coffee and snacks around 2PM in the kitchen (Members all take turns bringing snacks)
Conversation and laughs are always had; and the occasional get together is had outside the clubhouse.  We also celebrate birthdays on a monthly basis.

If you’d like to join a friendly group of adults and can play either Canasta or Mah-Jongg (OR you’d like to learn), please don’t hesitate to come on down on those days and say “hi!”

You do NOT need to be a member of the Holiday City communities to join this club.

When you read this our traveling bocce will be over. We all had lots of fun playing other local communities. Special thanks to Tom and with the help of his wife Annette for organizing traveling bocce.

Just a reminder, our Annual Awards & Luncheon will be held October 6, 2023. It will be Friday, October 6 at 1 PM. Tickets are on sale at our meetings and the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month in Clubhouse I from 12-1 PM.

We would love to get new members for our 2024 season. Please talk to your neighbors and friends. Remind them that you do not need experience. All are welcome.

Summer's end is rapidly approaching. Happy Labor Day weekend to all! The Melodiers have returned to begin rehearsal in preparation for the Holiday Concert scheduled for Sunday, December 3rd at 2 PM in CH2. All residents of Holiday City are eligible to join and become an integral part of the group. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday afternoon from 4-6 PM in CH2. Come in, sit down and listen. New members are accepted during the month of September. No experience is necessary and auditions are never conducted to determine membership eligibility.
