Our next meeting is Monday, November 11th at 12:00 PM at Clubhouse One. At 11:30 AM coffee and donuts will be served prior to the meeting. Remember, you do not need to fish to be a member of our club, we are a SOCIAL & Fishing Club. Our Annual Christmas Party, B.Y.O.B. will be held on December 10th in Clubhouse One, and is guaranteed to be a FUN event, music by D.J. Mike, dinner catered by Mulberry Street Italian Market, soft drinks, water and dessert to be provided. Tickets $40 per person will be available to purchase on the first and third Tuesday each month or at our Club Meeting. We plan to go Striper fishing in December, date to be determined by arrival of the fish running. 2025 election of new officers will be held during our January meeting, if you are interested in becoming an officer or volunteering to help, please let us know, as in order to keep our club going, we need YOU!

The Variety and Drama Club is busy at work rehearsing for our upcoming show, “HOEDOWN’! The show will be held January 18th, 2025 at 7pm in HCB Clubhouse 2.

So Saddle Up Partners and get ready to purchase tickets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 12pm-1pm in Clubhouse 1 and every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 6pm-7pm in the HCB Library, starting in November.

Our group continues to grow and we welcome new members who would like to join us, either on stage or behind the scenes! We meet Tuesdays from 5pm-7pm in Clubhouse 2. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary.

The HCB Veterans Committee is hosting a VETERANS DAY DINNER DANCE on November 9 from 6-10 pm in Clubhouse 2. Tickets are going fast. The music will be provided by Who Are You Guys, a local group who cover songs from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and up. Do Wop, to Rock n’ Roll. (Check them out on YouTube). The dinner will come from Blue Collar Catering, a local company with a 4.9 review rating and excellent reputation in our area. Tickets are only $40/pp and selling fast. We hope you can join us. 

We hope you all had a wonderful summer. We are a social club where some of our members bring their crafts (kinitting, crocheting, sewing, etc.) to work on during the meeting.  If you want to learn how to do any of these crafts, there is always someone willing to teach you. If you just want to socialize (many of us do), we welcome you. We meet every Thursday at 1:00 P.M. in Clubhouse 1.

Our annual awards and luncheon was held on October 4. We will have a Bocce meeting on Tuesday, October 8 at 4 PM. We will discuss and inform everyone regarding our 2025 season.
Remember Bocce sign ups will be January, February and March. Please make an effort to sign up at the meetings. Everyone have a safe and healthy fall and winter. See you at the October 8th meeting in Clubhouse I at 4 PM.

We are excited to begin our new season of entertaining! Our Club meets on Tuesdays at 5:00 PM in Clubhouse 2. We are currently planning our next show and we welcome new members. If you love to entertain or if you're more of a "behind the scenes" person, we'd love to have you join us!

Always wanted to write that short story, novel, poem or opinion pieces? The Holiday City Writers Group is here to help! We meet on the first and third Monday of each month in CH2 and provide a supportive, non-judgmental place where you can share your work and provide feedback on other people's writing.

So far this year, the woman have out done us guys catching fish and crabs, but we have another chance. Sometime before Thanksgiving will go out for Striped Bass, date to be determined depending on the arrival of the Bass.
