Holiday City at Berkeley is an active 55+ community located within Berkeley Township, in Ocean County. Residents, both singles and couples, live independently in single family homes. Here at Holiday City at Berkeley there are 2 clubhouses that offer a variety of amenities. Inside our clubhouses, residents can get creative in the ceramic room/arts & crafts room. Homeowners can also challenge friends to a game of cards, ping pong, billiards, relax in the library with a book, or participate in Thursday night bingo. Outdoors, we have shuffleboard, pickleball, bocce ball and corn hole are the perfect place to have some friendly competition. Each clubhouse features an outdoor pool as well. The Ocean Ride bus service takes residents around the Toms River area for shopping. We have numerous clubs and activities to keep residents socially active or quietly retired. The office, located next to Clubhouse 1, is open Monday-Friday
from 9am-2pm.

RE: Status of Current Projects/Work
October 21, 2026
1. The Board has been in constant contact with the contractor hired to do the
retaining wall. As we have stated before, this has been a long, drawn-out process
requiring input and permissions at the state and local levels. Working with the DEP
has been an exercise in patience. Even after the permitting process has ended, the
work still depends on the contractor's availability and working conditions.
Unfortunately, despite our best intentions and planning, the contractor has delayed
the start of our project. Weather, other projects the contractor is working on, and
equipment issues are factors we cannot control.
The contractor has stated that the wall work will begin early next week. We remain
hopeful this will be the actual date, and that work will be completed quickly,
without issues or further delays.
2. The RV’s and other equipment from the Auxiliary parking lots are being
temporarily relocated to the lot in front of CH 1 so that a multi-part project to redo
the auxiliary lots, as outlined in the Capital Improvement Report (Falcon Report),
can be completed in the next two weeks.
3. The Bocce Courts are being dismantled due to necessary emergency sewer
work that must be completed immediately. We will address rebuilding the Bocce
Courts after the sewer work is completed; more information to follow.
4. It has come to our attention that some of the Election Ballots did not contain a
blank envelope. If you did not receive a blank envelope with your ballot and return
envelope, please use a blank envelope you have available, or come to the office and
we will provide one. Please do not just place your ballot in the return envelope; it
will not be counted. Your ballot must be returned in a blank envelope that is inside
the return addressed envelope.
The Board will continue to provide updates as we receive them. We will post the
